The Letter Carrier’s Food Drive is on Saturday, May 13th. We need all the help we can get, so please keep this date open. We need volunteers at least 15 years old from about 9:30 – 12:00 P.M. to go with trucks and vans to collect the food on the walking routes in the 19067 area and 6 senior members to drive the vans. We also need 3 pick-up trucks from about 11:30 AM to 2:30PM to pick up from letter carriers who have food to pick up. This would be a big help! Call Frank Powell at 215-736-1053 or sign up online. We also need volunteers at least 18 years old to help unload, sort, and pack the food for distribution from 2 PM-7:30PM and also to load the trucks and to bring the food to the food pantry. Even if you can stay for only a hour it would be appreciated.

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate Octoberfest with the Knights and our guests! We had a great turnout, great food (thanks to Ben’s Deli in Morrisville) and drink (thanks to Killarney’s Publick House in Hamilton, NJ), and a DJ (Scott Robinson, also a 4th Degree Knight) that kept the crowd going all night. Congratulations to all of the winners of our door prizes, silent auction items, and 50/50 drawings, and most importantly, for your generosity and support!
