Letter Carrier Food Drive – Saturday, May 13th

The Letter Carrier’s Food Drive is on Saturday, May 13th.  We need all the help we can get, so please keep this date open.  We need volunteers at least 15 years old from about 9:30 – 12:00 P.M. to go with trucks and vans to collect the food on the walking routes in the 19067 area and 6 senior members to drive the vans.  We also need 3 pick-up trucks from about 11:30 AM to 2:30PM to pick up from letter carriers who have food to pick up.  This would be a big help! Call Frank Powell at 215-736-1053 or sign up online.  We also need volunteers at least 18 years old  to help unload, sort, and pack the food for distribution from 2 PM-7:30PM and also to load the trucks and to bring the food to the food pantry.  Even if you can stay for only a hour it would be appreciated.

Keep In Your Prayers…

Please keep in your prayers Marilyn Ryan, Dot Davis, J.R. Rookstool and all the sick and disabled Brother Knights in our daily prayers.

Remember it is important that if something happens to a member they get in touch with Frank Powell or the Grand Knight at the time it happens – Frank’s number and e-mail is on the back of your membership card.  If there is a Brother Knight who is sick, please let Frank know.

4th Annual Octoberfest Success!

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate Octoberfest with the Knights and our guests!  We had a great turnout, great food (thanks to Ben’s Deli in Morrisville) and drink (thanks to Killarney’s Publick House in Hamilton, NJ), and a DJ (Scott Robinson, also a 4th Degree Knight) that kept the crowd going all night.  Congratulations to all of the winners of our door prizes, silent auction items, and 50/50 drawings, and most importantly, for your generosity and support!

We’d also like to send a huge thanks to the generosity and support of those who donated items for our Octoberfest door prizes and silent auctions, and also contributed to the event’s success:

Knights in Action – Mulch Project Success!

Knights in Action! The Knights of Columbus Council 3673 at Holy Trinity sponsored a mulching project around the grounds of the Church. Assisted on Friday, April 8th by members of Boy Scout Troop 30 we distributed mulch throughout the flower beds as service to our Parish. Hopefully spring will come so and everyone can enjoy the grounds and our work. Thanks so much to all of the Knights and Scouts for your hard work and efforts!
