A Message From Our Grand Knight, Joe Pargola
Welcome to the Knights of Columbus! We are the largest Catholic fraternal service organization worldwide. Founded in the United States in 1882, we are currently 1.8 million members strong. If you are 18 years of age or older, and a practical catholic, we would be pleased to have you join us. The Knights of Columbus does not require a great deal of your personal time. We understand that you are with us as volunteers and respect and appreciate any time that you can commit. We are a family organization and we involve spouses and children at many of our fundraisers. Our ceremonials are private to ensure the meaningfulness of our degrees to the newest members. Our order is based on the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.
The Knights of Columbus was founded by Father Michael McGivney. He wanted to help members of his parish in any way he could. The assistance initially took the form of providing insurance to help widows and orphans of parish members.
Today, we try to do much the same; to give help to our parish members and others in need. Please feel free to navigate our website. If you have any questions or would like additional information, do not hesitate to contact one of our members or Father John C. Eckert at Holy Trinity Church in Morrisville, PA.
Very truly yours,
